Provincial Credit Union offers you two ways to bank on your mobile device...Mobile Text Banking and Mobile Web Banking.   

 

Mobile Text Banking

Mobile Text Banking gives you real-time access to your accounts wherever you happen to be. Just send a quick text message to your account and you'll receive a message back. It's fast, it's easy and it's free.*

Mobile Text Banking works on all text-enabled phones. It doesn't matter what kind of cell phone you have, as long as you can send and receive text messages.

Check your balances and recent account activity from anywhere you can get a signal - instantly.

You'll get the account information you want, when you need it, without having to find a computer.

Your personal information is always secure - the only details transmitted will be your account balance or recent account activity. Getting started with Mobile Text Banking is easy. All you need is access to online banking. Don't have it? Contact Provincial Credit Union to sign up today.

 

If you're already an online banking user:

  1. Login to your online banking account and click on mobile banking
  2. Enter your mobile phone information
  3. You'll receive a text message with your passcode
  4. Confirm your passcode and select the accounts you want to access with mobile banking

Once you've signed up, it's easy to use.

Common Mobile Text Banking Commands

Once you have signed up for Mobile Text Banking, text message any of the below commands to 66639 (MONEY). A few seconds later, you'll receive the requested account information on your cell phone.

  • ACT - To access the account activity of your primary account
  • ACT <account nickname> - To access the account activity of a specific account (ie. SAV1, SAV2)
  • BAL - To access the balance of your primary account
  • BAL ALL - To access the balances of all your accounts
  • BAL <account nickname> - To access the balance of a specific account
  • DISABLE - To temporarily disable your phone
  • HELP - To access a list of the commands you can use
  • INFO - To access contact info about Provincial Credit Union
  • STOP - To permanently delete a phone from accessing Provincial Credit Union's Mobile Text Banking function

 

And, to make it even easier, you can save the short code 66639 in your phone for quick and easy access. You can even save your text messages and simply resend for future use

How do I access mobile web?

It's easy and already available for you to access if:

  1. You have access to Provincial Credit Union Online Banking
  2. You have logged into online banking at least once from a desktop computer

 

When you're ready to access mobile web, simply visit www.metrocreditu.com/m from your smart phone browser and insert your Online Banking login credentials. From there, use the menus to navigate the site and bank as usual. It's that easy.
