A direct withdrawal is a process where money is automatically taken from one account, usually a credit union or bank account, to pay for goods or services. This is often set up for regular payments, such as bills, subscriptions, or loan payments, and is authorized by the account holder in advance

 

 
 

How to set up a direct deposit?

Follow these 3 simple steps to set up your direct deposit:

1. Download our fillable form
Download the direct deposit or direct withdrawal form by clicking here or get one from your employer or service provider if they provide their own form. Make sure you have the latest form by always downloading it from our website or by checking with your employer or service provider to ensure a smooth process. 


2. Fill in the information
The information needed on the form may change depending upon the requirement. Sometimes your employer may use their own version of direct deposit form that you need to fill, but the main information remains the same, regardless of the form type.

b) Institution number: 839
c) Your Account number: An account number is a 10-digit number that you can find using your online banking/mobile app. 


Online Banking:
Log into your online banking --> Go to My Accounts --> Select the account of your choice --> Click on "Account details" --> "Account Number" is the 10-digit account number you need.


Mobile Banking:
Log into your Mobile banking --> Click on Accounts --> Select the account of your choice --> Click on "Account details" --> "Full Account Number" is the 10-digit account number you need.

3. Save & Send
Once the form is completed, double-check all of your entries for accuracy to avoid any potential delays in the process. Then save a form copy for your reference and send that to the appropriate person/department.

No, your Member ID and Account Number are completely different things. You use your member ID to log in to your Online Banking or Mobile Banking. It's not used for any other purpose, while your Account Number relates to your banking information with regards to a particular account. 

For any banking information you must always use your "Account Number".

A branch number or transit number is a 5-digit number that provides information about the branch where you open or maintain your account.  For Provincial Credit Union, the number is 39073.
An institution number is a 3-digit number that is assigned to a certain financial institution to identify them. For Provincial Credit Union, the number is 839.

You can locate your account number using your Online Banking or Mobile Banking.
