Atlantic Canada’s Top 100 Employer for 2026

Provincial Credit Union is proud to be recognized as one of Atlantic Canada’s Top 100 Employers for 2026, as announced by Mediacorp Canada Inc., organizers of the annual competition. This is the third consecutive year that Provincial Credit Union has received this award.  

Atlantic Canada’s Top 100 Employer recognizes employers in PEI, Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick that lead their industries with exceptional workplaces.  

Eligible employers are reviewed on a series of criteria by Mediacorp editors. Provincial Credit Union was recognized for its commitment to community involvement, financial benefits and compensation program, and health and family-friendly benefits. Staff are provided two paid days off annually to volunteer in their community. In July, staff received $60 to support a local business through the “Loyal2Local” program. Staff also were provided $50 during the holiday season for the “Pay it Forward” program, where they donated the money to a charity, organization or family, of their choice. As a member-owned financial institution, Provincial Credit Union’s community involvement through donations and staff volunteerism is core to its organizational values.
